From your first contact by phone or email, David and Simon are personally involved in every stage of your gym design project — from initial consultation to final completion.

No project is too big or too small. Designer Fitness has delivered everything from compact home gyms—transforming spare rooms and garages into fully functional training spaces—to large-scale corporate design and build projects in collaboration with architects and commercial partners

Stage 1

Stage 1 – Consultation & Project Understanding
During the initial stage, we meet with our clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project. This includes assessing the available space, budget, and end-user requirements to ensure the design aligns perfectly with your goals.

As we are independent and not affiliated with any single manufacturer, we have the flexibility to select equipment that best suits each client’s needs and budget, drawing on our extensive knowledge of the fitness industry and equipment market.

Stage 2

Stage 2 – Design & Equipment Selection
In this stage, we focus on designing the optimal facility to meet your specific goals and requirements. For projects that require additional expertise, we collaborate with our in-house buildings manager and interior designer to ensure every detail is considered — from functionality to aesthetics.

We personally test and source the highest-quality equipment, always working within your budget. Thanks to our long-standing relationships with leading equipment manufacturers across projects of all sizes, we’re often able to secure trade discounts of between 10% - 40% off retail prices, ensuring exceptional value for our clients.

Stage 3

Stage 3 – Installation & Handover
Once the client has approved the final design and selected their preferred equipment, we ensure the space is fully prepared and optimised for gym use. Our team can source, coordinate, and manage any additional trades required to complete the project to the highest standard.
